Ich habe nicht damit gerechnet, dass ich einmal um jemanden, den ich nie persönlich getroffen habe, so bitterlich weinen würde.
Von dem Moment an, in dem ich vom Tode David Bowies erfuhr, liefen die Tränen, gegen die ich eine ganze Weile machtlos war. Ich möchte Euch auch jetzt gar nicht mit meinem persönlichen Schmonzens zuballern; ich war und bin einfach nur ein Fangirl und seine Musik hat mich den größten Teil meines Lebens begleitet.

Wenn´s hart auf hart kommt, was mache ich dann?
Ja, dann wird auch genäht. Das hilft ganz oft. Auch diesmal.
Jetzt, nachdem ich nicht mehr „überzulaufen“ drohe, schleicht sich sogar schon ab und zu ein Schmunzeln ein. Was für eine Wahnsinnsshow das war! Ganz bis zum Schluss!

I did not expect that I would once so bitterly weep for someone I’ve never met in person.
From the moment in which I learned of the death of David Bowie, the tears ran down, against which I was powerless for a while. I don´t want to bother you with my personal stuff; I was and am just a fangirl and his music has been with me for most of my life.

When the chips are down, what do I do then?
Yes, I also sew. This helps very often. This time, too.
Now that I no longer bubble over with tears a smile creeps across my face from time to time. What a wicked show that was! Quite to the end!
